EWB appoints Head of Valuations and Ceramics

Ellis Willis and Beckett Auctioneers and Valuers (EWB) has announced the appointment of Annabel Brammer to head of Valuations and Ceramics, following their recent move and expansion to Broadfield Road, Sheffield.

Brammer brings significant experience to her new role at EWB as the co-founder of Bamfords of Derby, established in 2002, and also formerly at Neales of Nottingham. Brammer started her career at Biddle and Webb in Birmingham, gaining her RICS (chattels) qualification in 1997.

Discussing her latest move, Annabel commented: “I am hugely looking forward to working with the professional and expert team at EWB, fast becoming regarded as one of the leading auction houses in the Midlands, covering the worlds of antiques, fine art and the auction market.

“I’m passionate about cataloguing all sections of chattels and look forward to welcoming old and new clients alike over the coming years.”

Simon Billing, who along with Max Bettney relaunched Ellis Willis and Beckett in 2021, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Annabel to our rapidly expanding team.

“As a team at EWB we work to offer an exceptional experience to both buyers and vendors with professional cataloguing & images and a friendly service coupled with a fresh and contemporary approach to a global audience.”

EWB is part of Sheffield’s creative hub, which includes up and coming silversmiths, jewellery designers and silver platers, pioneering the world of antiques, past treasures and memorabilia to current and future generations.

Brammer’s appointment comes at a time of significant momentum for EWB with their inaugural Fine Art Sale taking place at the end of October.
